Glucose Tolerance Test

After fasting since 12am onward, the whole of the morning feel so hungry and enduring for the Glucose Test.  Total 3 blood test need to be done.  First blood test taken before drinking down a bottle of Glucose and need to wait for each an hour back to take second and third blood in total.  My vein is very very thin, as usual nurse have to try to find the vein to take all my 3 blood. 😞

The first Blood Test - For 2nd Trimester Test

It’s have been a week after blood test.  The blue black blood stain is still around and become look like this.  It have blue black feeling and I massage it.  I feeling the area like clog.  I remember there wasn’t any like this when I had my first pregnancy after blood test.  The area have a clog feel when touches it and blue black feel.  But it’s really work with the massage, it start to lighten it after massage and it gone after a weeks later.

A short post.....

The start of the pregnancy vitamin again. I had been having my folic acid ever since before pregnancy and fancl multi vitamin 30.  I'm currently at around 4th month or so now. Doctor had giving me 3 type of vitamins.  

- Multi vitamin, calcium and DHA.

I'm not a medication pill person will easily feel vomiting when the pill is huge.  And among these 3 type of vitamin, I have difficulty to swollen the calcium one as it's same as big as the anti-biotics.  The multi vitamin is the smaller among the 3.  And the weird me is that, capsule type of medication I easily swollen so the DHA is in the gel big form and i'm able to just swollen it.  I know i'm kind of weird. ha.... 

Antenatal Lesson - Labour

Today lesson is about Labour.  As usual my Hubby and I attend the lesson together.  We have theory and video watching today.  On the presentation screen, the nurses show photo of how labour like. After seeing it the photos it feel so scary.  But the video is fine to me of how the ladies giving birth. Is the photo that it look...... but that's reality of birth giving.  Only the nurses and doctor can see the area of birth giving but not we mum.

The dilation of the "cm", it isn't goes right away to birth giving.  It must waited till the cervix opening is fully.  Doesn't mean waterbag broke it goes straight into labour.  It got to check by the doctor is it time to deliver too.

Learning about the different type of medical could be use during the birth giving period.  How and what can be done if anything that does not goes straight easily to naturally birth.  And what it could help while having natural birth to deliver the baby out if pushing having some problem.

The journey of Mother To Be.....  There are so much so much to be known.
I myself have actually read up a lot though books and online from Pregnancy to Birth giving to Baby. I felt I have never read so much before other than my study.  How I wish I could be so hardworking to my study too. Ha~ I guess I could score very well! :p

 A simple and short sharing of Labour - Antenatal Lesson

Today is our second Antenatal lesson and today it's held at the Auditorium.  Early morning we went down and they also have provide us refreshment food buffets.  During the refreshment time, there are people selling and promoting pregnancy products and etc.  We came across this booth that promoting couple of baby products like stroller, educational for babies and kids.  Something caught us which is this product call "Baby Plus".  Is a prenatal education system product that educate baby in the womb.  It let baby recognise from the simple beat, it's a audio lessons for fetal development.  It consist of different lesson level for baby to progress.  Baby will upgrade level from BabyPlus. Twice a day, per lesson an hour.  This baby plus can be start using from week 18 onward.  If using later than week 18, you may count and divide to see how many days the baby need to learn per level lesson.  It's a good head start for baby.  Hubby bought it after the first Auditorium lesson.  It cost $200 plus.  I can't wait to let our baby to get starter!  :) 

Hubby bought it during the auditorium break time.  Today lesson include father theory too and also about baby health injection.

1st day of Antenatal Lesson

My first day of Antenatal Lesson at KKH.  Hubby sign up the Antenatal Lesson for me and little one. I waited for my Hubby to knock off from his work at around Novena.  It remind me last time whenever I knock off from my work, I will travel to Novena to wait for him to pick me up around the area.

The lesson start at 6:30pm.  The first lesson teaches us exercising for pregnancy.  The class size contain about 10-12 couple.  The lesson take about 1 an a half hour.  There also be 15 min break time after 45 min lesson later.  We can at least get some bite.  Number of free sample stuffs for both Mum and Baby from different brands.

After the lesson, Hubby and I went for our dinner at Bugis Junction.  After dinner, Hubby and Me went to Kinokuniya.  Hubby saw this Tsum Tsum magazine which give this Tsum Tsum cute little nylon bag.  Both of us like it and decided to put little one small items so Hubby bought it.  Great for little one.  Such a cute bag!  Oh yar, the magazine is actually a Japanese baking book and it just nice I can use it and do baking stuffs for Hubby and little one.

Baby Growth Scan

Is our Baby growth scan appointment today.  It actually suppose to be dated on 11th September Friday but it was a election day so hospital have to change the appointment date.   The appointment for this month is at 1045am.  But I wake up early morning together with Hubby at 7am and leave house together with him early in the morning.  As I told him that I do not want to take a cab down later.  So he agreed and decided that I leave house with him and I went for my breakfast myself first near his work place and he will came over to fetch me around 10am plus.  So he drove me down together while on his way to work and he bring me to KFC and goes off. 

I had my waffle and sjora drink breakfast.   By the time I finish eating is already 9am plus.  After my meal, I went for my toilet break and find a place to seat down while waiting for him to come.  So fast, it's reaches 10am already.  Just a few minutes ago playing my line game and while I still clicking, Hubby texting me he's on his way to fetch me.  As usual the same as the last few time we went for Baby Growth scan that pretty fast to be call.  The scan for this time round was fastest than the others time.  Previously was a full check up scan on the Baby of the growth of every part of the body and etc.  Today scan was more simple and the Baby weight have hit the kg already.  So happy!  After the scan normally we suppose to visit the doctor right after.  But will be done separately this time which will be on next Monday 14th September instead.  Hubby send me back to home and we have our lunch nearby together before he driving back to work.  Hubby scare I be hungry later in the later afternoon so he bought a packet of vegetarians mee hoon that I prefer to have.

Another appointment check up

The appointment for my check-up suppose to be on 7th Aug, Friday but it was postpone to 3th Aug instead.  As 7th Aug is a PH so hospital have to make arrangement to be before the date as the routine check-up cannot be anything time after.  On 3th Aug, lot of people was waiting for the check-up.  The queue is very long.  As due to those suppose to be check-up on Friday are being postpone to today.  Our appointment timing was 1145am and we have check in our appointment before 1145am.  but we waited so long until almost 1pm.  Hubby actually took half day in the morning only.  We have no choice got to eat our lunch right at the appointment area.  It seem awaken but with no choice, I'm starting to feel hungry.  Hubby went to buy dinner and we seat there eating.

A sudden thought, I couldn't imagine if we are still under the public clinic one will it be pack like hell.  Lucky From the very first appointment visit, Hubby asked for change to Private Suite.  From earlier time Hubby only interested in the Private Suite one and have intention to change.  He want to have better environment for me and baby before and after birth.  And of cause the service and shorter queue.

Finally I'm back and Good News!

I was away for couple of months of no update of blogging.  I wasn't feeling very well in the past few months.  And also not able to announced the news due to Chinese have this first 3 months not able to share as was told that some sort of Chinese superstition so most of them don't really share the news in the first 3 months.  Now I'm very happy to announced that.................

I'm Pregnant! :D  

Now I'm going to reach my 5 months in about 2 weeks time.  Hooray!

Before I knew I was pregnant, I been keep wanting to eat BBQ.  My Hubby keep bringing me to eat Korean BBQ and Mookata.  Ha.....  Especially pork!  Our baby love pork!  Up till now I'm still eating pork instead of chicken.  Baby doesn't like chicken but only satay chicken. Our baby will eat marinated chicken.

In the first 3 months which is first trimester, I wasn't like my mum without nausea and vomiting when she having me and my younger brother.  I have both nausea and vomiting. Sigh!  I'm not able to eat well, feel food disgusting.  Although not most of the time whatever I ate will puke but I will puke sometime when I ate. :(  I feel so suffering in the very first trimester.  I'm worry the baby didn't received enough foods due to my frequent vomiting.  When we went to the gynes, I asked about it.  The doctor say it is fine and baby wouldn't affect from my vomiting.  How about my vomiting?  Doctor say, is normal and once it reaches 14 weeks will be fine.  Ok, so I got to endure though this first trimester.  And also, some people say that vomiting is good as baby received the nutrition.

Yippy!  I have passed though the first trimester!  Is true as what the older people had say, once reaches the 4 month will be fine.  :)  And also consider one of the lucky one.  My younger brother told me that one of his friend first baby had let her vomited and nausea throughout the 9 months.  Which mean there are some need to go though this but some don't at all.

I have my 3th ultrasound on 12th June, the baby is so cute.  My gynes told us that our baby is faces us.  But too bad not able to see the gender as our baby uses the leg and cover it. Ha.... When my hubby told his family about it in the family chat, his younger sister say the baby shy shy...... hahaha...  so cute ya.  So we be seeing our baby gender on our next visit on July then.  We can't wait to see our baby though ultrasound.
